When students can do guided role play 1, they move on to this activity, which has pictures instead of words. After this, they can move on to unstructured role plays or talking about where they really live.
The estate agent game
A circulating activity. Half the class are estate agents and the rest are looking for a house Each estate agent has one red card. Each customer has one green card. Customers tell the estate agents what they are looking for. Estate agents say what they are selling. If the cards don’t match, both move on to ask someone else. Tip: once customers find the estate agent with the right property, they can either carry out a language task of your choosing together or be given another card and continue the activity.
